Are you wondering how Jupiter is going to affect you? The short answer is everybody; some people more than others.
Taurus is the primary beneficiary, of course, followed by Virgo and Capricorn. Pisces and Cancer will also benefit from Jupiter’s stay in Taurus.
The intensity and timing depends on your birth chart’s planetary placements. People with personal planets (Moon, Venus, Mars, and Mercury) and/or Ascendants in Earth signs in the early degrees (0° to 10°) will experience this transit the longest, due to the retrograde period. The same can be said for Scorpio – the opposite sign of Taurus and Aquarius and Leo with whom Jupiter forms a 90° stressful aspect.
Below is a synopsis of how Jupiter in Taurus will affect each sun sign.
Aries: Increases in earning power, material wealth, are the highlights for Aries. This could be a very productive year, provided Arians learn to stick to a budget, do not succumb to impulsive splurges and work out ways to better manage their resources. The idea is to develop a solid foundation for the future and not just rely on good luck.
The best opportunities to increase their income come through education, travel or developing new audiences for their business.
In general, Jupiter will boost this sign’s self-confidence in their ability to earn a living.
Taurus: Jupiter’s love for the easy life and Taurus sensual nature are working in tandem to make this period a joyful one. The mood for the year is one of enthusiasm, optimism and generosity. Jupiter improves the natives confidence to overcome obstacles that seemed previously unmovable, and allows them to further long dreamed personal projects. 2011-2012 is an opportunity to explore and develop inner talents for which they will receive plenty of support both financially and emotionally.
The only caveat for this transit is the risk of overindulgence in earthy pleasures.
Gemini: This is a secluded, behind the scenes year. You might be tempted to spend time alone in meditation, contemplating the deeper meanings of life. A new interest in spirituality, the occult, and the esoteric can emerge. You are also more inclined to get involved with local community projects through volunteer work, by donating to charity causes, or just helping others. Romance is favoured since Jupiter rules your solar 7th house of partnerships. For those who are married, circumstances might require them to dedicate extra time and attention to the relationship.
Cancer: Is one the signs benefited by the passage of Jupiter in Taurus. A busy social year is highlighted by this transit. The expansion of their circle of friends and acquaintances will help Cancer natives not only formulate long-term goals, but also develop a support and encouragement system. They can encounter good fortune from networking and volunteer activities within clubs, groups, associations, and organizations.
Leo: A change in status is in the cards for you. Jupiter brings you additional opportunities for public recognition, career advancement and professional success through a promotion, a new job, a diploma, an important award. In other words, Leos find more joy in their work, as well as increased chances to successfully promote, and publish creative endeavours.
Virgo: Travel, studies, going abroad, expanding your horizons, and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds are the main areas Jupiter wants you to focus on. Professionally, Virgoans benefit from international dealings and those involving publicity and promotion.
In general, they will be less inclined to worry over the small details.
